Specialized Body Geometry footbeds improve efficiency, increase comfort and reduce the risk of injury. By standing on the Specialized Arch-O-Meter, a rider can determine the optimum level of foot contour, and what will be the Body Geometry footbed more suited to his morphology. Three types of footbed exist (from minimal to significant support) : red, blue and green.

Specifications of the Specialized BD SL green footbed :

  • Color green = high, for people with standard or high arches
  • By combining the right Body Geometry (BG) footbed and BG shims, the rider can fix the angle of support, optimizing the Hip / Knee / Foot biomechanical alignment
  • Body Geometry shim and wedges sold separately


 

For low arched feet, choose the red footbed.
For people with flat to standard arch, choose the blue one.

    I need a green one for my right foot and a blue one for my left foot (when you're in bad shape...), so it's a bit expensive, but at least no more tingling, numbness and cold feet! (Translated review)

    Il me faut une verte au pied droit et une bleue au pied gauche (quand on est mal foutu...), du coup ça me coute un peu cher, mais au moins fini les fourmillements, engourdissements et froid au pieds !
